Here are the best anime shows from 2018. As long as these anime started airing in 2018, they’re eligible to my list. Now, without adding too much fluff, here is my list of my favorite or the best anime shows from 2018 in my opinion. 1. Fairy Tail Season 3 This anime has 51 episodes that aired from October 2018 to September 2019. If you’re following the whole anime series, these episodes will be from episode 278 to episode 328. It is said that this will be the last of the Fairy Tail series. This is sad because I like this anime and I hoped it will go on like Dragon Ball and One Piece. I’m going to miss Natsu and Happy. 2. Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens has only 12 episodes that aired from January 2018 to March 2018. It started as a manga in July 2016. This anime is not my typical overpowered hero genre but this is very interesting for me. It’s all about a group of assassin colleague friends working in a society full of assassins. I like how the main characters were developed and how the sub-characters supported them. It’s hard to explain but you’ll probably watch the entire series too. 3. Grancrest Senki (Record of Grancrest War) Grancrest Senki aired from January 2018 to June 2018. This anime series has 24 episodes. It initially ran in August 2013. Also known as the Record of Grancrest War is a good mix of action, military, and magic genre. I enjoyed watching all the episodes. I like the angle of how the characters were able to gain more strength by attaining the “crest” of other people they’ve fought and defeated. I like good-hearted heroes and Theo Cornaro is one of them. This made me more fond of the anime show. 4. Overlord 2 Overlord Season 2 aired from January 2018 to April 2018. This is the sequel to Overlord which first aired in 2015. This also has 13 episodes like season 1. Just like season 1, I enjoyed watching Overlord season 2. I like how the story is moving forward as well as the action and magic scenes. This anime show will also definitely be included in my list of action and magic animes that I’ll recommend. 5. Overlord 3 Overlord season 3 aired from July 2018 to October 2018. It had 13 episodes like its predecessor seasons. If you didn’t get enough of Overlord, you’ll definitely like that the next season came in on the same year. Season 3 I think is more action-packed and more amazing because Ainz’s kingdom is now interacting more with other kingdoms. I’m looking forward to season 4 of Overlord! 6. Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments) The Seven Deadly Sins season 2 aired from January 2018 to June 2018 for 24 episodes. This is one of the better animes I’ve watched so far. The story and the characters are really good. Season 2 is no different because it introduces more powerful enemies that the 7 Deadly Sins will be facing. The 7th Sin Escanor is also introduced this 2nd season. I must say that Escanor is now one of my favorite anime characters. It’s one of the moments that having pride is actually really cool. Just like season 1, The Seven Deadly Sins season 2 is a must-recommend anime show. Conclusion If you haven’t noticed, I’m heavily invested in anime with good-natured hero characters. I just like good people and heroes I guess.
